Copyright 1935 by the Aetna Casualty and Surety Co.
Color folding map, 18 x 32 inches. The map proper is slightly smaller, because of the text on left and right of the image. Folds to 9 x 4 inches.
A vintage map  decorated with charming illustrations by the popular illustrator associated with the "Roaring Twenties," John Held Jr.
Shows principal highways.  Includes thirty-three vignette illustrations of historic events and places by Held. Text on verso, "A Few of Connecticut's Many Historic Landmarks" with black and white illustrations.
    CONDITION:
Very good.  Tiny pinholes at a couple of the places where the map is most folded. (Not visible unless you hold it up to light.) The paper has a consistent "parchment-y" color, part of the original design.
